INTRODUCTION
Vietnam is situated on the eastern coast of the mainland in Southeast Asia. It is boarded by China in the north, the Gulf of Tonkin in the east, the South China Sea in the east and south, and Cambodia and Laos in the west. The state is included in the region of the Asian continent. To be more specific, the north is classified as subtropical region whist the south is classified as a tropical region. The Capital City of Vietnam is located 20° 55' N, 105° 51' E on the world map. The topography of the land looks like someone holding rice on their head. There is a single mountain chain, The Annam Cordillera, and it extends along Vietnam’s western boarder from the north to the south. This connects two densely populated Deltas; The Red River Delta which is located in the North, and the Mekong River Delta that is located in the south. The land in comparison to the state of New Mexico is slightly larger. The relative location from Beijing, China to Hanoi, Vietnam is 2300 km, South West. The purpose of this task is to show my personal understandings about Vietnam and the changes occurring within the country.
